Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday described the massive mandate for the ruling NDA in Bihar as a vote for development over dynasty and an answer to anti-democracy forces even as he predicted a possible Congress split citing 'negative politics' of the opposition party as the reason.
Framing the BJP-led NDA ruling combine’s sweep of the eastern state as an endorsement of the Election Commission’s electoral roll revision exercise, the PM said the youth of Bihar had shown how seriously they took the purification of voter lists.
