CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Cleveland Browns legend Bernie Kosar has given his latest health update in which he said, “Really still can’t stop the bleeding,” after having yet another procedure Friday morning.

Kosar was hoping for a liver transplant on Sunday but an infection kept that from happening.

Since then, it has been a series of surgeries and procedures to try and stop internal bleeding.

Through it all, his social media updates from University Hospitals have been incredibly positive in the face of such a trying time.

In summer 2024, Kosar was diagnosed with liver failure and Parkinson’s disease and currently needs a liver transplant.

“I could really use your love, support and actual prayers,” Kosar said in a post Wednesday morning from his hospital bed.
