Primary school at risk of flooding as Storm Claudia hits South West View 2 Images
Villagers near Bristol have been warned to expect flooding after Storm Claudia brought a torrent of rainfall to the South West.
A yellow weather warning for severe rain is in place today (Friday, November 14), and the Met Office says heavy rain between Friday and Saturday may cause flooding and disruption in some communities.
A red flood warning is in place in Chew Magna, with floods expected in the village.
The area affected follows Winford Brook and includes Chew Magna Primary School in the at-risk area.
Residents are being urged to take action.
