LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office will provide an update on a fatal two-vehicle crash Friday morning.
Emergency crews responded late Thursday night to a serious two-vehicle crash near W. Roca Road and Southwest 42nd Street, south of Lincoln.
The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that each vehicle involved had a single occupant.
Deputies and emergency medical units were dispatched just after 9:45 p.m. to the area of Southwest 42nd and Highway 33, where they found both vehicles in opposite ditches along the roadway. Preliminary investigation by LSO indicates the vehicles struck each other nearly head-on on Highway 33.
