A shop selling cigarettes and vapes to children has been ordered to shut.
The Euro Mini Market convenience store in St John Street in Lichfield city centre was raided on Wednesday (November 12) by Lichfield District Council’s Environmental Health officers.
They were working alongside Staffordshire County Council’s Trading Standards officers and Staffordshire Police .
Inside the shop the officers found a large quantity of vapes, cigarettes and tobacco including four suitcases full that were hidden in an outbuilding and found using the council’s drone.
It was a repeat offence with past raids finding similar hauls and including harmful or counterfeit products and some where the contents of them were not known – but still being sold.
