ELLENBORO, N.C. —

A member of the Ellenboro Fire Department is in serious condition after a fire truck was involved in a crash Friday morning.

The fire department said the fire truck was on the way to a fire when the crash happened.

They said the member of the fire department was in serious condition but was stable.
