ELKHART, Ind. -- The Elkhart County Sheriff's Office reports deputies responded to a shooting in the 29000 block of C.R. 16 in Elkhart around 8 a.m., Friday.

Deputies arrived to find one person dead and a second person with serious injuries.

The injured person was taken to the hospital.

Authorities say this was an isolated incident and there's no threat to the public. Share
