Fans heading to the Michigan State University vs. Penn State football game Saturday, Nov. 15, in East Lansing should prepare for a rainy day, according the forecast.
The Michigan State Spartans play the Penn State Nittany Lions at Spartan Stadium at 3:30 p.m. Saturday. Both teams are 3-6.
Spartans are coming off a bye week. Their last game, Nov. 1, was a 23-20 loss to the Minnesota Golden Gophers. Penn State lost, 27-24, to the Indiana Hoosiers on Nov. 8.
In East Lansing, temperatures will be in the 50s for early-morning tailgaters. By kickoff, though, it's expected to warm to 63 degrees. Rain is possible throughout the day, with the chances increasing closer to game time, so fans should consider a raincoat — and it's likely to be windy.
