LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - The Otoe County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a driver was forced off the road and shot at Thursday evening.
It happened near the intersection of County Roads 24 and K, southwest of Syracuse, around 5 p.m. Thursday, according to the Otoe County Sheriff’s Office.
The suspect vehicle was described as a dark gray Ford Fusion with Iowa plates, driven by two people that appeared to be wearing ski masks.
Around 7 p.m. that same evening, Otoe deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle call on County Road I between County Roads 50 and 54. The vehicle was similar, a silver Ford Fusion with Iowa plates, driven by a man and a woman.
