MEDINA, Ohio -- Dozens of supporters gathered at the Blue Heron Ballroom Nov. 12 to celebrate the 15 th anniversary of ORMACO -- Ohio Regional Music Arts and Cultural Outreach.
It’s a hefty name for a very vibrant organization serving Medina County and Northern Ohio.
The guests were treated to mellow live music by Jerry Popiel and his guitar.
As he welcomed guests, ORMACO founder and Executive Director Thomas Sigel reminisced that 15 years ago, he planned to organize and present one musical event each quarter.
Fortunately, his plans have expanded to provide 47 public outreach programs in the past year alone.
