LAKE COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) - A Mentor-on-the Lake massage parlor suspected of being a “sex-for-pay operation” was raided by law enforcement officers Thursday.

Agents with the Northeast Ohio Human Trafficking Task Force, which is organized under Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost’s Ohio Organized Crime Investigations Commission, and Lake County Sheriff’s deputies executed the search warrant at The Dragon Spa, in the 5000 block of Andrews Rd.

The task force also searched a private home in the area.

“If even one victim of human trafficking can be identified and helped, the operation is a success and worth the effort,” Lake County Chief Deputy Robert Izzo said. “We will continue to work to identify those taking advantage of these victims.”
