A case alleging misappropriation of trade secrets and breach of contract has been moved from the U.S. District Court for the Western Division of Texas to U.S. District Court in Denver.

The case, Nitrocrete LLC v. Drew Nelson, Mark Nelson and Nitro Founders II LLC, stems from the purchase of the multiple related companies that bore the name NitroCrete and are referenced in the lawsuit as Old Nitrocrete because of the similarly named companies in the lawsuit.

Fort Collins-based Nintrocrete’s claim to fame was an innovative process that used nitrogen to cool the concrete, thus making the final product stronger and more resilient. The technology involved software and technology that would integrate with concrete batch plants.
