College Athletic Director and Star of Netflix’s ‘Last Chance U’ Shot on Campus

A college athletic director who starred in season five of the Netflix series was reportedly shot on campus Thursday.

According to a report from NBC News , Laney College Athletic Director John Beam was in critical condition following the shooting. It occurred around noon at the Laney College Fieldhouse in Oakland, California.

The report continued:

“We’re currently asking the public’s help in locating a suspect, a potential suspect in this case,” Oakland Police Department Acting Chief James Beere
