Parts of England and Wales face downpours bringing up to a month’s worth of rain in a day as Storm Claudia enters the UK.
Amber warnings for “persistent and heavy” rain are in place until midnight, covering parts of Wales, the Midlands, the South West, the South East, and East of England, and part of northern England.
Areas of England may see 80mm of rain, while Wales generally will see 50-75mm, but 100-150mm on higher ground. New Feature
