GRAND TRAVERSE COUNTY — Contracted crews will continue signal modernization work next week on North Long Lake Road, Herkner Road and near West High School in Garfield Township.

According to the Grand Traverse County Road Commission, work is scheduled to take place between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. and is expected to be completed by the middle of December.

Crews will be working in the right-of-way, and intermittent lane closures are expected.

The road commission is asking drivers to plan ahead, be patient and expect delays.

Road commission crews will also be performing pothole patching, grading gravel roads, ditching, sign repair, tree trimming and shoulder work at various locations throughout the county.

All work is weather permitting.
