Nags Head urges opposition to proposed increases in dwelling insurance policies

The Town of Nags Head is urging individuals to submit comments to the North Carolina Department of Insurance opposing the requested increase in dwelling insurance policies—which cover second homes, vacation rentals and year-round rental properties. It warns that the proposed new rates, which are “unwarranted and unjustified,” would create “an insurance crisis.”
