EFFINGHAM COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) - Doctors say child abuse may be to blame for one man’s role in the death of two local teens.
Friday was day 2 of testimony in the sentencing of Mark Wright.
He’s one of five family members charged in the death of two teenagers in 2018.
The bodies of Elwyn Crocker Jr. and Mary Crocker were found buried at the family’s home on rosebud place.
Wright is the children’s uncle.
A judge is hearing testimony Friday before deciding on Wright’s sentence.
The first witness was a developmental psychologist from New York.
This doctor specialized in childhood trauma and abuse. After evaluating Mark twice, his expert opinion is that Wright was severely abused as a child.
