Baton Rouge police officers have been featured on the reality TV show "On Patrol: Live" for nearly half a year now.
For Baton Rouge Police Chief Thomas Morse, he said it's made him look forward to Friday and Saturday nights, when the show airs live on the REELZ network. It's let him feel like he's riding along with his officers, even when he can't.
Starting this Friday, a new roster of officers will get their time in the spotlight as a camera crew follows them during their evening patrol.
According to Morse, rotating officers helps prevent burnout and shows different sides of the department.
