AURELIUS TWP. — One person died in a fatal house fire in Aurelius Township the morning of Friday, Nov. 14.

"At this time, the City can only confirm that there was one fatality," the city of Mason said on its Facebook page d uring the morning hours. "No additional information can be shared at this time as the scene remains active."

The fire department responded to a structure fire around 4:30 a.m. in the 400 block of South Aurelius Road, west of Mason, near the Columbia and Edgar roads intersection.

The Onondaga, Leslie and Dehli and Eaton Rapids township fire departments also responded to the incident, the city said on Facebook.
