Avenues Recovery Center, a New Jersey-based chain of addiction-recovery centers, has purchased a former skilled-nursing facility in south Fort Collins for $13.5 million — $20 million less than was owed in a recent foreclosure action.

Avenues, operating through Ziegler Road Realty LLC, acquired the 69,892-square-foot property at 4880 Ziegler Road Oct. 22.

The site, which formerly housed The Center at Rock Creek, went into foreclosure in April, when Computershare Trust Co. N.A., as trustee of the Mainstreet (Senior Note) CTL Pass-Through Trust, filed a notice of election and demand.
