Jay Lycurgo Signs With CAA

Jay Lycurgo , the rising British talent who turned heads for his performance in Netflix drama “ Steve ,” has signed with CAA .

The Londoner — who was recently listed among Variety ‘s Actors to Watch — stars alongside Cillian Murphy in the Toronto-bowing film, playing a troubled young man at a reform school for boys with behavioural difficulties. Earlier this month the performance saw Lycurgo land a British Independent Film Award nomination for best supporting actor.

In its review, Variety said “Steve” was 2025’s “best Netflix movie” and a “profoundly moving and superbly acted diamond in the rough,” adding that Lycurgo was an “alternately sensitive and intimidating young actor in his breakout role.”
