KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - A pair of women have been charged with multiple felonies after setting a bathroom on fire at Kansas City’s police headquarters.

Court documents filed in Jackson County on Tuesday charge 32-year-old Miri Mozuch and 51-year-old Latrice Hamlett with one count each of first-degree arson and possession of a controlled substance.

Surveillance video inside the KCPD headquarters showed Hamlett and Mozuch being released from the detention center at approximately 7:40 a.m. The two were then seen entering the women’s bathroom in the lobby.

KCPD said Mozuch, of Denver, Colorado, and Hamlett, of Kansas City, Missouri, were being released for unrelated charges.
