The Scherr Legate Lights Parade will officially kick off the city's holiday season on Saturday, Nov. 22, in Downtown El Paso.

The lights parade, sponsored by Scherr Legate Law Firm, always draws thousands of families who gather along the streets of Downtown to share the tradition with their children.

It's the City's only lights parade that has been in El Paso for at least 30 years, city media representatives said.

The festive parade will feature more than 70 floats, marching bands, car clubs and walking participants. There is no particular theme, but all entries will be decorated with lights.
