LOS ANGELES -- A 22-year-old man accused of killing an "American Idol" music supervisor and her husband at their Los Angeles home has been found incompetent to stand trial.
Raymond Boodarian is charged with two counts of murder and one count of residential burglary for the fatal shootings of Robin Kaye and Thomas Deluca. He also faces special circumstance allegations of multiple murders and murder during the commission of a burglary.
At a hearing in Hollywood Thursday, a judge found Boodarian was incompetent for trial. Boodarian did not appear in court.
Criminal proceedings against Boodarian will be suspended until his competency can be restored, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office.
Another hearing has been scheduled for Dec. 19.
