GROVE CITY, Pa. - A former Grove City Community Library director who was accused of stealing approximately $26,000 from the institution has entered a plea deal.
According to the plea deal, former library director Amy Gallagher pled no contest to an amended misdemeanor count of theft by unlawful taking. She must pay $6,680 in restitution.
The prosecution is recommending that Gallagher be sentenced to probation with no objection to early termination once restitution is fully paid. Sentencing is set for December 17.
Gallagher was charged in 2023 in connection with approximately $26,000 that she had allegedly stolen from the institution in 2020.
