The New England Patriots won their eighth straight game on Thursday night, defeating the New York Jets 27-14 . New England is now 9-2 on the season, owners of the NFL’s best record. Following the game, Stefon Diggs fielded some questions from NFL.com’s Judy Battista, and Diggs’s responses didn’t disappoint. One of his answers even reminded fans of prime Bill Belichick.
“What’s working for this offense,” Battista asked Diggs.
“Complementary football,” Diggs said . “Defense playing well, special teams playing well, we got a good running back, we got a good quarterback, and everybody’s doing their job.”
“What are you seeing in terms of (Drake Maye’s) progression?” Battista continued.
“It’s just him doing his job,” Diggs said of Maye. “He’s a young player that’s playing extremely well.
