A man drugged children at a Leicestershire summer camp and then sexually abused them. Jon Ruben, 76, drugged multiple young boys with sweets to knock them out before sexually assaulting them, as told at Leicester Crown Court.

Today (Friday, November 14), Ruben admitted sexual assault of a child under 13, assault of a child under 13 by penetration, eight counts of child cruelty, three counts of making indecent images of children and four drugs charges., reports Leicestershire Live .

Ruben, of Wayte Court, Ruddington, Nottinghamshire, denied a charge of assault by penetration which prosecutors have been given two weeks to consider if they will proceed with.
