East Lothian parents who 'hadn't even held their baby before being asked to say goodbye' have opened up on their ordeal.
Kirsty Grandison, 35, and Daniel Crolla, 38, were devastated after doctors urged them to 'prepare for their worst'. Their son Kobi was born at just 29 weeks weighing only 3.3lbs.
While everything seemed fine at first, Kobi suffered a collapsed lung in the middle of the night. Kirsty and Daniel, who live in Prestonpans, were told to call their family in.
