New Delhi: The Russian Navy’s Pacific Fleet is currently on a visit to Myanmar, in India’s neighbourhood. The warships on this visit include the frigate Marshal Shaposhnikov, the corvette Gremyashchiy, and the tanker Boris Butoma. These three warships are conducting exercises with the Bangladeshi Navy in the Andaman Sea. This exercise, dubbed MARUMEX 2025, is taking place while Myanmar is grappling with civil war.
