MILLINGTON, Tenn. - A jury found a Mid-South man guilty on child pornography charges.

That four-day trial ended on October 30, resulting in 37-year-old Michael Fruitticher of Millington being found guilty on charges of production and attempted production of child pornography and possession of child pornography.

Prosecutors said that for three years, between 2011 and 2014, Fruitticher recorded a child nude in the shower and in sexual poses. Fruitticher also recorded himself sexually abusing the child, according to United States Attorney D. Michael Dunavent. DNA evidence also linked Fruitticher to the child pornography production.

Authorities began investigating Fruitticher in 2019 when a 19-year-old woman told police that he had been raping her since she was eight or nine years old.
