ALLEN PARK — Detroit Lions special teams coordinator Dave Fipp drew the line on his family making the trip with him this weekend in his return to Philadelphia.

Before joining Dan Campbell’s staff in 2021, Fipp, 51, spent eight seasons as the Philadelphia Eagles’ special teams coordinator (2013–2020) — the team the Lions will face in Week 11. During his tenure, he found great success, serving on Doug Pederson’s Super Bowl LII-winning staff.

“It’ll be incredible. I mean, I love the place,” Fipp told reporters when discussing his return. “It was an incredible experience there. I was there for eight years.
