(WREX) — Illinoisans will be getting their SNAP benefits back soon, according to a state department.
The Illinois Department of Human Services said they are working to distribute full SNAP benefits after the end of the government shutdown. The IDHS said they expect remaining benefit payments to be made over the next few days.
All SNAP recipients will receive their full November benefits by Nov. 20, said IDHS.
