Pat McFall’s lead over Troy Daniels in the Loveland mayoral election grew to 193 votes as the Larimer County election office on Thursday wrapped up its week-long cure period.
According to the final — but still unofficial — results, McFall received 14,839 total votes to Daniels’ 14,646, a difference of 1.3%. To qualify for an automatic recount under state law, the difference would have to be less than or equal to 0.5% of the higher vote total, or approximately 74 votes.
Nor will there be an automatic recount in the race to finish out the two years remaining in former Ward 3 representative Erin Black’s term. With 2,186 votes, Kalina Middleton held a 32-vote lead over Christopher Say, who ended with 2,154 in the final tally, a margin just under 1.5%.
