BISMARCK — With a new executive order issued Friday, Nov. 14, Gov. Kelly Armstrong acknowledged the impact homelessness is having on individuals, families and communities across the state, and announced the establishment of a new council designed to improve collaboration among state agencies and service providers with the ultimate goal of ending and preventing homelessness in North Dakota.

In a press release announcing the creation of the North Dakota lnteragency Council on Homelessness, Armstrong also proclaimed Nov. 16-22 as Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week in the state.
