TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - An 18-year-old man has turned himself in following an investigation into the fatal hit-and-run on Tucson's southside that claimed the life of a 75-year-old woman.
Alexis Eduardo Ibarra-Guerrero, 18, was identified as the suspect in the deadly crash. The victim was identified as 75-year-old Sally Alcaraz Rodriguez.
According to the Tucson Police Department, the fatal hit-and-run happened on Nov. 3 near Park Avenue and Irvington Road.
Traffic Detectives identified the suspect vehicle as a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro. The driver, Ibarra-Guerrero, turned himself in to TPD on Nov. 13.
Ibarra-Guerrero is charged with Failure to Remain/Hit and Run and is held at the Pima County Adult Detention Center on a $100,000 bond.
