Kosher dining options are growing at Miami University in Oxford.

New this fall is a kosher bagel kiosk, offering Marx Bagels, salads and other certified kosher grab-and-go items available for purchase through students’ dining plans, according to a news release.

Marx Bagels, based in the Cincinnati suburb of Blue Ash, is certified kosher in Cincinnati by Cincinnati Kosher and in Columbus by Buckeye Kosher.

For Jewish students like sophomore Morgan Reifler, the addition of the kosher counter is more than just convenience.

“Having a kosher option right on campus makes daily life so much easier,” Reifler said in the release. “It shows the university recognizes and supports Jewish students and their needs.”
