DRAPER — A Motorcyclist was left with critical injuries after a crash on Bangerter Highway near Draper Thursday evening.
According to Sgt. Mike Alexander with Utah Highway Patrol, a passenger car and a motorcycle were involved in the crash.
Lt. Erik Beesley with UHP confirmed that at approximately 4:20 p.m. a Subaru was heading EastBound and driving in the fast lane when a motorcyclist came up behind the car going faster than the speed limit.
When the Motorcyclist attempted to make a lane change it hit the back of the Subaru causing the crash.
The man driving the motorcycle had a pulse when help arrived on scene and was transported to the hospital.
The man on his motorcycle has “extremely critical injuries.” according to Sgt. Alexander.
