No Strings Attached community band, directed by Sandra McMillan, would like to invite everyone to its Hard Times Call for Music concert, featuring the Northern Brass Choir, directed by William Rowson. Article content

The concert takes place on Nov. 16 at 2:30 p.m. in the McKellar Auditorium at Lockerby Composite School, 1391 Ramsey View Court. Admission is pay-what-you-can, with proceeds donated to the Poppy Fund. Article content Article content

“ March with us and celebrate a variety of unashamedly merry and masterfully subtle music arranged for concert band and brass choir, from traditional military marches by Sousa and Prokofiev to the flourish of Vaughan Williams and the heartwarming music of Mr. Rogers Neighbourhood,” organizers said in a release.
