MADISON, Wis. — Perhaps next time you go to Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream Co., maybe think of getting a scoop of strawberry ice cream, as it recently earned national honors.

The Madison-based company won a blue ribbon at the North American Ice Cream Association's 2025 National Ice Cream Awards held in West Palm Beach, Fla., from Nov. 9-11.

This contest gathers hundreds of ice cream professionals and aspiring dessert entrepreneurs from across the nation for the industry’s largest event in the U.S.
