A variety of illegal drugs that were obtained from overseas and refined in a homemade lab were confiscated and two people were arrested in a raid on a home near an elementary school in downtown Mount Clemens.
The Macomb County Sheriff’s Enforcement Team on Thursday raided a home on Grand Avenue in Mount Clemens, near St. Marys Catholic School on Union Street and not far from the Mount Clemens Library and Mount Clemens Middle and High School on Cass Avenue. Officers confiscated over 1,000 suspected pressed methamphetamine-fentanyl pills, about 225 grams of the controlled substance Etizolam, Ketamine, about 1,300 grams of psilocybin, aka “mushrooms,” and anabolic steroids, as well as a pill press and a variety of different pill stamps.
