A former assistant admissions administrator at Emmanuel College pleaded guilty in federal court Wednesday to soliciting an underage college applicant to engage in commercial sex with him, prosecutors said.
Jacob Tyler Henriques, 27, of Boston, pleaded guilty to one count of attempted sex trafficking of a minor and one count of cyberstalking, US Attorney Leah B. Foley’s office said . He will be sentenced March 4.
Henriques was arrested in May on allegations that he offered to pay a 17-year-old prospective student “for some fun” and similarly propositioned a 13-year-old, according to court records filed at the time of his arrest.
