A CVS Pharmacy location near downtown Louisville is closing next month.

CVS Health Media Relations Manager Shannon Dillon said the pharmacy at 416 E Broadway, located in the Smoketown Jackson neighborhood, is closing on Dec. 17.

"All prescriptions will be transferred to the nearby CVS Pharmacy at 340 W Muhammad Ali Blvd, which is located 1.1 miles away in Louisville, to ensure patients have uninterrupted access to pharmacy care," she said.
