LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Nebraska Community Blood Bank (NCBB) and the University of Nebraska are calling on the Husker community to donate blood as part of the Big Ten Conference and Abbott’s “ We Give Blood ” campaign.

Only about a dozen people separate Nebraska and Wisconsin in this competition helping to save lives. Nebraska is the reigning champion but is currently in second place, trailing behind Wisconsin.

The winning school will be awarded $1 million for student or community health by Abbott.

All who come to donate at this drive will be entered in a drawing to win two tickets to the Iowa vs Nebraska volleyball game, along with a volleyball signed by Nebraska volleyball head coach Dani Busboom Kelly. The drive also ties into NCBB’s Nebraska Football Sweepstakes. From Nov. 2–21,
