A driver was injured in a collision on Cedar City’s Main Street on Thursday afternoon.

The incident, which happened shortly after 12:30 p.m. at the intersection of Main Street and 1325 North, reportedly involved a silver Jeep Liberty and a black Chrysler minivan, each with a female driver as its only occupant.

Cedar City Police Sgt. Kirk Lovell said the minivan’s driver was attempting to make a left turn onto westbound 1325 North when her vehicle was struck on the rear passenger side by the Jeep, which was southbound on Main Street.
