KNOXVILLE, Tenn — A 52-year-old man faces a 56-year prison sentence for sexually assaulting a child after giving her alcohol and drugs.

A jury convicted Randall F. Myers in September of two counts of aggravated rape, among other counts. Myers' wife, Abigail Myers, testified for the state at his trial.

Knox County Criminal Court Judge Hector Sanchez imposed sentence Friday. Myers, listed as having a Nashville address in court records, has no chance of parole.

The abuse occurred in the summer of 2022, according to Knox County prosecutors, when the child was 13.

Authorities said Myers and wife and co-defendant Abigail Myers gave the girl alcohol and marijuana.
