Investigators with the George County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division have arrested 26-year-old Andrew Daily, of Lucedale, on a charge of possession of child pornography, the agency announced.

The arrest stems from an investigation launched after an earlier report involving Daily. Deputies said the case required extensive digital and cellular forensic work—including extraction and review of data from electronic devices—to fully analyze and document evidence. With assistance from the Mississippi Attorney General’s Office, investigators developed probable cause for Daily’s arrest.
