An accidental explosion occurred late Friday night at the Nowgam Police Station on the outskirts of Srinagar, injuring at least eight police personnel. Officials said the blast took place while teams were extracting samples from a large cache of explosives recently recovered in the Faridabad-linked ‘white-collar’ terror module case. The injured were immediately shifted to hospital, and further investigation into the incident is underway.
