With the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) heading for a sweeping victory in the Bihar Assembly elections, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s younger sister, Indu Kumari, expressed her delight, saying, “I am very happy. Women have shown trust. Women in Bihar think very highly of Nitish Kumar."

Speaking to the media, Indu Kumari credited the win to the relentless efforts of NDA leaders, adding that her brother’s personal involvement in governance had played a crucial role. She reflected on the transformation she has witnessed in the state, particularly for women.
