An Adams County couple who abused their special needs adopted son, who was malnourished and weighed 78 pounds at 14 years old, were sentenced this week to jail.
A judge gave Stacey Lynn Myers 11.5 months to 23 months behind bars and Todd Myers to five months to 23 months.
After their jail time, both will be required to serve 5 years of probation. Stacey is 52 and Todd is 57.
They each faced a maximum prison term of 12 years. They were found guilty after a trial in August on charges of felony endangering the welfare of children and possessing prohibited offensive weapons.
