Jammu, Nov 14: Nearly 500 athletes and officials from across the country are gearing up to participate in the 69th National School Games U-19 Girls Taekwondo Championship, set to begin at Indoor Sports Complex, Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu.

The Joint Director of Youth Services and Sports (Jammu), Vinakshi Koul, who also serves as the Organising Secretary of the event, chaired an important meeting of team managers and coaches representing various contingents from 36 States and Union Territories at the lodging centre in Jammu.

She was accompanied by Parichay Mishra, Field Officer of the School Games Federation of India (SGFI); Sukhdev Raj Sharma, District Youth Services and Sports Officer Jammu; along with conveners of the Reception and Publicity Committees.
